Trainline - Safe Spot

Introducing Safe Spot, an in-app safety feature concept designed to aid rail passengers in times of crisis. I was part of a talented cross-fuctional team that built this within 2 days at a company-wide Hackathon.

Out of 50 submissions, our team is humbled to have received a prestigious 'Do Good' award. This recognition has also drawn the interest of respected mental health charities such as CALM. We’re thrilled that this feature has been developed and is now available to all customers.

The team

Safe Spot was formed as a cross-functional unit, bringing together a range of experts including myself as a Brand Designer, a UX Designer, UX Researcher, Software Engineers, iOS Engineer, Paid Social Executive, and a Director of Engineering.

As a Brand Designer my role was naming, identity and rollout, including an OOH campaign. I also assisted on creating icons for the product flow, making sure the brand was shown at its best here.
